An Entrepreneur's Life: Gary Vaynerchuk

min read
Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own.

Iconoclastic entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk built his reputation as an early adopter of social media. Now he uses his platform a self-made marketing expert to inspire others in entreprenuership and business success. His books Crush It and The Thank You Economy have become favorites of young entrepreneurs with ambition and hustle. In this video interview with Entrepreneur.com, Vaynerchuk reflects on his childhood as an immigrant from the Soviet Union, his love of baseball cards that fueled his business passion and a not-so-secret ambition to one day buy the New York Jets professional football team franchise. His love of family, and his father's influence in particular, is never far from Vaynerchuk's  main story thread: "My father gave me a great at-bat," he says.
