Itasca, Illinois--Auto repair shop franchisor Midas Inc. has named Gary Vonk acting CEO, replacing Wendel Province who resigned. The company didn't give a reason for Province's resignation. Meanwhile, Midas said it will post a "modest" third-quarter loss with revenues essentially unchanged from the $85.2 million the company posted a year ago. -Crain's Chicago Business
