Watch Harrison Ford's Crazy Close Call at the Airport Han Solo lands wherever Han Solo wants.

By Dan Bova

He might be able to make the Kessel Run "in less than 12 parsecs," but Han Solo (i.e. Harrison Ford) had a little trouble recently landing his single-engine Aviat Husky at an airport. As this recently released video shows, the 74-year-old Star Wars and Indiana Jones made a potentially deadly mistake at John Wayne Airport in Orange County when he mistakenly flew low over a taxiing airliner packed with 110 people.

Ford somehow confused the taxiway the airliner was on for the parallel runway where he was supposed to land.

"Was that airliner meant to be underneath me?" Ford asks in sound from the air traffic control tower.

No, Indy, no it was not. The FAA is investing the incident.

Ford is an avid collector of vintage planes. He suffered injuries in 2015 when his World War II-era trainer crashed on a Los Angeles golf course.
