In this video, Entrepreneur Network partner Business Rockstars interviews Ryan Detert, the CEO of Influential, on some interview dos and don'ts.

Ryan Detert shares the best interview he's ever had was with the creative director of a company, who was impressed by past projects Detert's company completed. To truly put the team's candidacy over the edge, Detert and his company.

In one of the worst interviews Detert has experienced, a possible hire sharied that he hoped to use a salary offered by the company to leverage a higher salary. Essentially, if you're hoping to get hired, don't admit that you're hoping to shop a salary around before you commit.

And when you do find yourself interviewing, Detert recommends remembering to make eye contact, being sociable and articulating your thoughts clearly.
