How Perseverance Launched This Successful Entrepreneur's Career Starting a business is hard. Don't let self-doubt steer you away from your goals.

For Drew Baldwin, perseverance is the most important element of entrepreneurship.

Baldwin is the founder and CEO of online video curator Tubefilter, as well as the creator and executive producer of the Streamys, an awards show for online videos and internet talent. Starting a business is no easy task, and Baldwin had to overcome feelings of self-doubt throughout his entrepreneurial journey. "I knew that what I was accomplishing wasn't all left up to chance, but hard work," he says.

Entrepreneurship can be scary, but it's vital to have a vision and execute it without distraction. Trusting your gut and honing in on your instinctual sense will help you succeed, Baldwin advises.
