Dawn Lafreeda is the largest sole-ownership Denny’s franchisee in the world and the only woman in the United States to own highest number of franchises of a single chain of restaurants. Dawn owns 81 Denny’s restaurants in 7 states. She started her career as a hostess at Denny’s at the age of 16 and now does annual revenue of $100 million for the brand single handedly.
Peter Goldberg is the founder of PLG Ventures based in Santa Monica. Since 2015, Peter has been one of the most active early stage investors in SoCal. He has also been an equity partner with Catterton Partners and Oak Investors, where he purchased the company accelerated growth and sold it to Wendy’s International for $275 million; more than seven times the original investment.

Prior to this, he’s been a partner at Eekoh and the CEO at Sallus- an insurance company for lower income families.
