About Us

For more than 35 years, Hi-Five Sports has helped children build confidence, learn teamwork and develop a lifelong love of sports. What began as a single family-run summer camp in Northfield, Illinois in 1990 has grown into a year-round youth sports brand serving kids from preschool through 8th grade, built on a balance of fun and fundamentals.

Hi-Five franchise owners can launch in one of two ways: as a home-based Hi-Five Sports Club, running programs through local facility partnerships and rentals, or as a Hi-Five Sports Zone, their own dedicated youth sports center. Either way, you get a protected territory, comprehensive training, established operating systems and hands-on support from a leadership team that has run these programs itself.

Two Ways to Own

Hi-Five Sports Club: Launch Without the Cost of a Facility

The Hi-Five Sports Club model lets you run a full youth sports business from a home office. You deliver programs through partnerships with schools, childcare centers, community organizations and rented facilities, booked by the season or by the hour.

You get our complete program library, including lesson plans, league and camp formats and video tutorials, plus a step-by-step local launch plan. Marketing is ready to deploy: school partnership plans, direct mail, community events featuring our Murphy mascot costume, and digital templates. Our digital Murphy Mart brings the rewards experience to any venue. It's a streamlined way to start, and you can grow your programs, enrollment and coaching team as your business grows.

Hi-Five Sports Zone: Your Own Youth Sports Center

The Hi-Five Sports Zone is a youth sports center located in the retail areas where families live and shop. Under one roof, you run our classes, leagues, clinics and camps, and host sports birthday parties complete with Hi-Five Murphy and a Murphy Mart where kids trade Murphy Coins for prizes.

A Zone also earns revenue from facility rentals and school partnerships, and you can extend programs beyond your walls into your territory. Our community launch plan is built to generate program enrollments and party bookings from opening day.

How Do I Get Started?

Our discovery process is designed to help you and our team decide whether Hi-Five is the right fit. It starts with an introductory call about your goals. From there you'll review our Franchise Disclosure Document, get an in-depth look at our programs and systems, and evaluate your territory with our team. You'll also speak with current franchise owners and meet our leadership. If it's a mutual fit, you'll sign your franchise agreement and begin training.
