Hungry for a boost to its mobile products, Yahoo has acquired the social journaling app Wander for a reported $10 million.

The terms of the deal were not officially disclosed, but TechCrunch reported that chatter at last night's Crunchies award show shed light on the young startup's price tag.

Wander, a 2012 TechStars accelerator graduate, has raised a total of $1.2 million to date. The company's "Days" app allows users to creatively curate photos and gifs into a post that users can share with their followers the following day. Wander's goal is to "make content creation as habitual as content consumption" by encouraging users to share their lives in terms of days instead of moments.

Wander's team will join Yahoo's mobile and emerging products division in its New York City offices. The Days app, which launched just nine months ago in May, will continue to function as a standalone product, Wander says on its blog.

Yahoo's most recent purchase is just the latest in a buying spree that has seen the tech giant acquiring more than 20 companies since CEO Marissa Mayer took over in July 2012.
