Stephen Hawking: The Obesity Epidemic Is a Problem 'Beyond My Understanding'
In a powerful, minute-long public service announcement, the theoretical physicist, who suffers from ALS, talks about the fourth biggest cause of death.
Stephen Hawking knows a lot of things about the universe, but one thing that confounds the theoretical physicist and author of A Brief History of Time is the obesity epidemic.

In a powerful, minute-long public service announcement, the director of research at the department of applied mathematics and theoretical physics at the University of Cambridge, who suffers from ALS, talks about one of the leading causes of death in the world.
"We eat too much and move too little," he says in the video, which can be seen below. "Fortunately, the solution is simple: More physical activity and change in diet. It's not rocket science."
