Receive a free overview of your results with scores for the 10 qualities of high-performance cultures and the overall CultureIQ score. Companies that receive the highest CultureIQ scores will be featured in the Top Company Cultures list to be published on Entrepreneur.com. You also have the opportunity to upgrade to receive your detailed survey results.
For the Top Company Cultures list, we just need one point of contact, often a human resources employee or whoever manages company culture, to apply and act as an administrator for the survey. Your primary contact must use the company’s email address to sign up. This person must have permission to provide employee email addresses and access survey data. To protect your data, we reserve the right to disqualify companies if they do not provide an internal contact.
Someone (such as a PR representative) can complete the registration form on behalf of the internal contact, but all future steps must be completed by the internal contact.
If your company meets the criteria, all U.S. employees will have the opportunity to participate in the survey that measures your company's culture.
Your company must been incorporated before Jan. 1, 2015 and have at least 25 U.S. employees to participate. Your company must also be headquartered in the United States (if you are a global company, we will only survey your U.S. employees).
Not all participating companies will be included in the ranking. Entrepreneur and CultureIQ® will determine the ranking based on employee responses to the survey.
Franchises should only count and survey their corporate U.S. employees.

Participation in the Top Company Cultures list is completely free! All participants who qualify receive a complimentary overview of your scores, which includes your employee Net Promoter Score, overall CultureIQ score, and strength scores for the 10 culture qualities.
Companies do have the option to upgrade their experience to unlock additional features, but in no way will this affect your ranking. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions about the upgrade options.
The application and setup is straightforward and should take no longer than 10 minutes. The application consists of a few basic questions about your company (industry, size, etc.), and the setup involves registering for the ranking and configuring your employee survey. We will be in touch throughout the process to keep you updated on any remaining steps.
You can cancel your application at any point in the process. Please contact us here to do so. Remember, we will not send the survey to employees until you confirm your survey.
The main point of contact can edit the application from your participant dashboard up until noon of the selected survey start date.
It sure is! We take anonymity very seriously, and we never share identifying information about individual employees. Please read our anonymity policy for more information.
The survey is 21 multiple choice questions and one open response question, and it should take between three to five minutes to complete. Each question has an optional comment box. There is also the opportunity to add optional demographic questions.
You will be able to preview the survey before it is sent to employees in your participant dashboard once you complete the registration process. Your participant dashboard is where you will configure the survey to fit your company’s needs.
In order to compare scores fairly across all participating companies, the 21 questions of the survey cannot be edited or removed. You have the opportunity to include optional demographic questions in your survey.
Employees will receive the survey through email coming from email@example.com. Please add this email to your safe sender list to prevent it from ending up in spam folders. They can complete their survey on a desktop, tablet or mobile device.
The link provided to each employee in the survey emails is a unique link that can only be used once. This ensures that employees cannot take the survey twice.
Employee email addresses are only used to deliver the survey and track response rates. We respect employee inboxes and privacy. Employees are not required to register for an account of any kind, and we will only send them the survey and reminder emails.
The survey emails come from firstname.lastname@example.org. Please clear this email with your IT department to ensure that survey emails do not get blocked by spam filters.
The survey works on Internet Explorer 9 and above, and the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
We will be accepting applications until the start of the final survey window, Sept. 5, 2016 at 12pm.
The Top Company Cultures list will be published on Nov. 1, 2016 on Entrepreneur.com. You will be notified if your company makes the list prior to publication.
We measure 10 qualities that are common to high-performance organizations. We define a high-performance organization as one that achieves better financial and non-financial results than those of its peers over a long period of time. Non-financial results include employee engagement, retention, and talent acquisition. For more information, read about our methodology here.
The survey will be used to determine the Top Company Cultures list, which will be published on Entrepreneur.com. It will also be used for related content and benchmarking. Your employee information is confidential.
The Top Company Cultures list will be determined by employee responses to the CultureIQ® Survey. The CultureIQ Survey measures qualities common to a high-performance company.
Yes, even if your company does not qualify for the Top Company Cultures list you will still receive your overall CultureIQ score, your employee Net Promoter Score, and the 10 quality scores. You will have the option to upgrade to receive a more detailed report, employee comments, and optional access to the CultureIQ culture engagement platform.
