Subway Tests Pizza Possibilities

Milford, Connecticut-A Subway near you may soon offer anew menu item: pizza. TurboChef Technologies, a maker of commercialovens, announced in September that the chain is testing a type ofoven that will allow it to produce branded pizzas. The ovens areventless, requiring little space, and pre-programmable, reducinglabor. In recent months Subway has enhanced its menu with a largerselection of breads and signature sandwiches featuring brandedsauces. -QSR
