In this video, Entrepreneur Network partner Jen Hacker explains what an influencer is and how you can become one.

Hacker answers two important questions: "How do I get an audience?" and "How many people need to be following me in order to be an influencer?"

Having expertise in a specific subject, creating valuable content and building a large audience are the three keys to being an influencer. Determining your area of expertise is the first step. If you're unsure what that is, don't be discouraged. It's not that you don't have expertise, it's just that you haven't figured out what you're best at. Ask your family and friends what they come to you for, or observe yourself throughout the day and notice what comes easily to you.

Once you figure out where your expertise lies, craft your brand story and tell people who you are and what you have to offer.
