In this video, Entrepreneur Network partner, Brian Tracy, talks about being in a space of authority and learning how to delegate others. Delegation is particularly important when you want to show others that you are the leader.
Tracy describes many entrepreneurs as failing to know when to delegate, especially when they are enthusiastic to show they can do it all. Inevitably, this mentality can lead to burn-out, which stands in the way of efficiency.
When you delegate, you are opening yourself up to some unique benefits. Some of these include, more time to focus on important tasks, more time to involves others on your team and make them feel valuable and the ability to improve your overall well-being. Tracy reccomends, when you are trying to determine if you will be able to delegate, consider if the task must be done right away. From there, you can determine when the task must be done and whether or not you, as the leader, need to do it.
